If you are just just getting started in your search for a legitimate home based
business, I have to warn you, you need to be careful and always research anything you are thinking about getting involved with.

You see, the internet is a fancy, double-edged sword. On one side you have access to billions of people, thousands of markets, and in that virtual space you
may encounter some amazing products, services and opportunities and very talented individuals.


But this vast area is also very anonymous and makes it easy for dishonest people to portray themselves and their "businesses" in a deceptive manner.

Don't get me wrong, their are plenty of honest and legitimate home based businesses, and a large reason why people decide something is a "scam" is mostly due to their own lack of skills, experience, and knowledge of how to market on the internet. And most people don't fully commit, or were never serious in the first place so they give up before they even really get started.

So I'd say the first thing you should evaluate, is just how serious you are. Nothing happens overnight and without hard work, even with high-speed internet connections.

If you want to make money with a legitimate you will need to know how to spot the scams that are out there.

I'd say one of the most prevalent scams are paid surveys. But the scam probably isn't what you think it is. When I started out making money online, I made thousands of dollars from paid surveys.

The "scam" is when people try and sell you the information to gain access to paid survey sites. These sites are always completely free, but people have put together packages and systems to sell information about paid surveys to newbies.

Ten minutes worth of
